Our Commitment to Accessibility

Event Accessibility

  • Our venues are ADA-compliant and wheelchair accessible.

  • We provide priority seating and standing accommodations for those with mobility needs.

  • ASL interpretation and captioning are available upon request for performances, panels, and workshops.

  • Quiet/rest spaces are designated at all Moulin Noir events for those who need a break from sensory stimulation.

  • Our website and digital materials aim to follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure screen reader compatibility and visual accessibility.

  • We uphold harm reduction strategies, trauma-informed care, and consent-based interactions in all our spaces.

  • Our Ballroom & Burlesque Safety Toolkit ensures that participants, performers, and organizers are aware of best practices in community care and crisis response.

  • Red badge indicators are used at events for individuals who do not wish to be photographed or interviewed, ensuring privacy and respect.
